British Columbia invited 10 Base stream registrants and fewer than 5 Regional stream registrants on October 20, 2026. The minimum score was 118 in both streams.
What was announced
The BC Provincial Nominee Program reported two Entrepreneur Immigration invitation rounds on October 20, 2026. It invited 10 registrants through the Base stream and fewer than 5 registrants through the Regional stream. The published minimum score was 118 for each stream.
Entrepreneur Immigration is intended for experienced entrepreneurs who are prepared to invest in and actively manage a business in British Columbia. The Base stream supports eligible entrepreneurs establishing a new business or taking over and growing an existing business. The Regional stream works with participating communities and focuses on new businesses that align with local economic-development priorities.
An invitation allows a selected registrant to submit an application to the BC PNP. It is not a provincial nomination or permanent residence approval. Applicants must continue to meet the requirements in the program guide that applied when they registered, and the information in the application must remain consistent with the registration.
What this may mean for applicants
Candidates should not treat the score of 118 as a prediction for a future round. Before relying on either stream, confirm your business experience, proposed investment and ownership, active-management plan, net worth and source of funds, job-creation obligations, and any Regional community referral requirements against the current official guide.
